i had to tell my 8 year old to "change his attitude" this morning as he moped about like a stone statue.as i heard myself say it i traveled back into time. my mother used to say that to me ALL THE TIME!made me smile.'cause ALL MY LIFE - when i feel myself slipping into pity mode, i hear my beautiful mother whispering."angela....change your attitude" it stuck and i am so grateful for it.
