It's Wednesday - Growing in Unity and Unity Addicts Challenge

It's Maria here with Growing In Unity and this week's Unity Addicts Challenge.

This week's Growing in Unity gal is Martha. She will be inspiring you all week long with some amazing projects. Here is a little something about Martha:

"My name is Martha, wife and mother of two preteens. About two years ago, I won a raffle with crafting items, I thought it was cute, but didn't know what to do with them, but little by little playing with the stamps and paper I fell in love and haven't stopped ever since. Its just brings me so much joy to create something, to see what I'm capable of doing with paper, and I know I have so much more to learn, I'm learning everyday ;)

My favorite company of course Unity, and so happy to be part of GIU this week, so so kool. I love the different styles that Unity comes up with each month, and that is exciting because our styles can change, and we will always have the stamps for that occasion ;)
Hope you like my work ;) "

Here is a beauty from Martha, this also is for this week's Unity Addicts Challenge:

This week's Unity Addicts Challenge is a "Mood" challenge. Basically it's to stamp something based on your mood. Come join us in the Challenge forum to play along. Martha made this beauty based on her mood of "grateful".

Our wonderful challenge guest this week who suggested the mood challenge is Elisabeth! Here is what she came up with for her Mood challenge:

Here is what Elisabeth has to say about her "mood":

"I decided to make my card while I was feeling quite subdued, and the blue paper really suited my mood. As I was cutting it out, I began to remember my Dad, who passed away almost two years ago, and everything fell into place as the card became a little memento of him. I knew it would be an unfussy card – he liked things plain and simple; and yet classy (he appreciated good quality). He was old fashioned in many of his views, yet kept a youthful and optimistic outlook on life, even when he was 90! I embossed a frame in light blue, as it reminded me of how traditional he was. The {ippity} sentiment is from “Just Wanted to Say” and I stamped it on top of “A bit of burlap” - which reminds me how he loved the country and spent his boyhood days on his grandparents farm.

I knew I just had to add gold into my card, expressing how valuable and precious my Dad was to me, and how he was always there for me, no matter what. I embossed leaves from “You are right where you should be” in two different shades of gold, and added a beautiful gold ribbon (my best) and the little gold brads to finish.

I hope you like it, and I can’t wait to see what everyone else comes up with – every single one will be unique – no two moods the same! Thanks for listening to my mood story!"

Thank you for sharing Elisabeth! Fabulous creations ladies!

Be sure to swing on by the Unity Challenges Forum to play along this week. There is a chance to win an awesome Unity Kit for one random player!
